TJ Maxx officially opened in Marquette Township on Thursday, August 30th at 8 a.m. The parking lot was full, the stores were full and the radio was full of announcements for the grand opening.
Great Lakes Radio had four $25 dollar gift cards to giveaway in the days prior to the grand opening. Moms, dads and students called in to answered fashion questions for their chance to win the prize, just in time for school shopping. Four lucky winners were made Maxxinistas!
Since the grand opening, the parking lot always has cars in it and Marquette Township residents are happy to be shopping in a new store. Residents are also looking forward to the grand opening of PetSmart in the next few weeks.
