MARQUETTE, MI – According to Jason McCarthy, Township Planner and Zoning Administrator, the T.J. Maxx and PetSmart west of Lowe’s should open by the end of August.
A. Lindberg & Sons Inc. has been working on the T.J. Maxx and PetSmart facilities and they are close to completion. There are a couple of other businesses that may be added later on.
McCarthy also said the new Town Hall facility to be constructed on Commerce Dr. was in a preliminary design stage. The contractors for the project, Hall & Associates, are currently drawing up sketches for the building hopefully to present to the Township Board at their August 7 meeting.
