Marquette Township’s Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Coming Up!

Marquette Township is planning their annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and this year is going to be full of fun festivities!
Starting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27th, you can bring your family to the Westwood Mall, in the heart of Marquette Township’s business district, and enjoy the Marquette Redmen Choral as they start the event off with some Christmas Carols!
Kids will love the firefighters as they escort Santa Clause to the party, but be careful because the police will be on the lookout for the Holiday’s very own green goblin, “The Grinch” that we heard is setting out to steal Christmas from all of Marquette Township.
Horse-drawn wagon rides will be available for families and friends from Bill Richards of Ishpeming at sleighman.com. Max the Dog will be there showing his support for the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter; everybody deserves a present, so come help our furry friends!
You can warm up with Beanarella’s hot chocolate and Huron Mountain’s cookies will get you in the Holiday Spirit! Great Lakes Radio will also be broadcasting for all to hear on Sunny 101.9 WKQSfm!
Don’t forget to say hi to Santa’s Elves as they set you on Ol’ Saint Nick’s lap for a picture, so you’ll never forget this Holiday season in Marquette Township!
