The Board of County Road Commissioners of Marquette County, Michigan will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, September 30, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Marquette County Road Commission Office located at 1610 N. Second Street, Ishpeming, Michigan.
The purpose of the public hearing is to take public comment on a petition for abandonment of a portion of Venture Drive, Marquette Township. The petitioner has requested abandonment of Venture Drive in Section 17, T48N-R25W, for .24 miles commencing at its intersection with Wright Street (Old 492) extending easterly to its intersection with the east line of the NW ¼ of the SE ¼, Section 17, T48N-R25W.
The purpose of the public hearing is to also take public comment on a proposed realignment of Venture Drive in Section 17, T48N-R25W.
