Marquette Township Receives Over $1,000 Check from Money Raised During Community Day by Super One Foods

Marquette, MI  –  September 11, 2019  –  Almost a month later to the day Super One Foods hosted a ceremony at their Marquette location this morning to donate money raised during the 2019 Marquette Township Community Day.
During the annual event put on by the Marquette Township Business Association and Marquette Charter Township, Super One Foods served lunch,  collecting money to give back to the township. Today, Super One Foods and Marquette Township officials met at the Marquette location for the check presentation. Super One Foods Marquette Store Manager Mike Levine donated $1,098.40 to the township to be used for the maintenance and upkeep of Lions Field.
Staff from the Super One in Marquette gave their time to help support the township grilling hotdogs, brats, and hamburgers that were served to over 1,000 people during the event on August 3rd.
Marquette Township Manager Randy Girard, Township Supervisor Lyn Durant, and Marquette Township Business Association Co-Hair Todd Noordyk were there to receive the check.
