MDOT contractors will conduct repairs this summer on the west bound lanes of US Hwy 41 starting in June.
They will start near the Carp River in southern City of Marquette and progress into Marquette Township about July 8th, terminating at the Target/WalMart intersection. The work being done will consist of concrete joint repair, not surface repair, and will require lane closures causing traffic slowdown – one lane will always remain open.
Consider using other east/west options: Brookton Road (south side), Wright Street or Werner (north side), to help lighten the vehicle load.
Thanks!
