Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy the MediaBrew Goodwill Industries of Northern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan Christmas Tree Lighting! The MTBA was there in support of the event, greeting folks with Christmas spirit and selling 50/50 raffle tickets!
The event was truly magical! The night could not have been any better! So much joy was being spread, and you could tell the kids loved it. The night started with some wonderful performances by the Studio Dance Arts Marquette and Marquette Gymnastics! As the performers finished the Grinch song, there he appeared! The Grinch was all of a sudden in attendance, and he was looking to steal Christmas. Thankfully, the Marquette Sheriff’s Department was there to prevent his antics. Once the Grinch was taken away in cuffs, Santa Claus showed up! With Mark, Walt and the crowd’s assistance, Santa lit the Christmas tree up, shining against the night sky. After all of that fun, everybody went to the Westwood Mall to enjoy food & refreshments, the 50/50 raffle and pictures with Santa Claus.
