Here at the Marquette Township Business Association, we love community events and supporting them! We have been attending and supporting this car show for awhile, and for good reason. So many community members show up. Whether they bring a vehicle to showcase or if they attend to see the sights, this event has been growing rapidly in just the last couple of years. We are proud to be a part of it and provide the service of running the 50/50 raffle.
We saw a lot of cars again this year as well as a whole lot of foot traffic. Super One was out there serving up BBQ for everyone, and the mediaBrew Comms. crew was out there in full force making sure everyone got registered. It was a gorgeous summer’s day! This year there was a new addition to the GTO Car Show: The flea market that happens monthly at the Westwood Mall was coordinated as a part of the whole event. We thought it was an excellent new piece to the show giving patrons more to enjoy during the day. After everyone had a good chance to walk around to view all of the entries to the car show and visit the flea market, votes were submitted. We saw a very young entrant take home first prize and he was ecstatic. Young Joey had to take a victory lap after the people had spoken.
