The Marquette County Road Commission has released a press release to all Township residents, businesses, and motorists that roadway improvements on Old CR 492 (Old Wright Street) and County Road 505 (Commerce Drive) in Marquette Township are scheduled to begin Monday, July 27, 2026. These projects are tentatively scheduled to be completed by October 24, 2026.
During construction, motorists should expect travel delays, lane shifts and temporary traffic control, reduced speeds through the work zone, and periodic access adjustments near driveways and side streets.
While every effort will be made to maintain access to homes and businesses, temporary inconveniences may occur as work progresses. Please allow extra travel time, obey all posted traffic control devices, and use caution when traveling through the construction zone.
