Marquette Township – October 29, 2013 – This is your invitation from Marquette Charter Township Supervisor Dennis Liimatta to join him in a multi-jurisdictional/public discussion regarding the current and future transportation needs of our region.
As you may be aware there are several current local transportation issues under debate regarding routing of “heavy truck traffic” generated by various industries.
Although there has been much individual and behind-the-scenes discussions, a joint approach to addressing these issues and determining the most appropriate solution(s) for all parties has not developed.
The meeting has been changed to 7:30 p.m. because of a conflict with another meeting at the Township Hall at 5:30. Please consider attending at the new Township Community Center at 1000 Commerce Drive.
