Members Are Satisifed With Local Marquette Township Business Association

Marquette Township   –  November 5, 20133  – Now is the best time to join the local business association for 2014.  It helps to have you as a member. There are numerous reasons to join and the following are short testimonials of local business people on why they like being a part of this local business association.

  • As a business owner, I don’t have time to keep up with what’s going on in my township and county. I need to know where my tax dollars are going and what my township representatives are doing for my company. Belonging to the Marquette Township Business Association is the way to stay connected to what affects my hotel and knowing that the board is there for me is invaluable. It was easy to make the decision to join this organization and I’m glad I did.

  • I am happy to write a note in support of the Marquette Township Business Association because I feel the concept of “All for One, and One for All” plays out in an active local business association. Marquette Township has earned the reputation of being the fastest growing township in the State of Michigan and I own one of those local township businesses that is doing very well. For me, it only makes sense to support an active business association. I go on the MTBA website www.marquettetownship.biz and see that Township officials attend all of the MTBA monthly meetings. They hear of our local business concerns and MTBA provides an invaluable conduit back to the Township board and staff on what’s important to us. I also attend the monthly MTBA luncheon meetings to stay connected to what’s happening and hear new local business concerns.

  • We moved our business into Marquette Township in October of 2011. Since then, we have found the Marquette Township Business Association to be a dynamic and positive part of the business community. One of our staff members, Jenn Wallner, is on the Board and brings constant feedback that demonstrates to us the MTBA’s support of local businesses and business issues as well as enthusiastic support for growth and development in this area. We feel lucky to have an organization such as this working for us and the community.

  • As the Planner & Zoning Administrator for Marquette Township, I believe that serving as a liaison between the Marquette Township Business Association and the Township Board is very beneficial. The businesses in the Township help drive our local economy. By providing technical assistance and conveying issues, opportunities and suggestions, I can better serve the needs of the Township business community, while continuing to make Marquette Township a desirable place to live, work, play and visit.

  • I have enjoyed being involved with the friendly community of people who make up the Marquette Township Business Association. The MTBA provides a great place to gather with fellow businesspeople for lively, open discussions regarding ideas for change and growth in the township.
