January 25, 2013 – Marquette Township –
Our area business association supports events that create business in our township. We have been following the activities of our township ad hoc committee, The Events Committee”, which schedules and manages events in our area.
The 2013 roster of events has been announced and we encourage our members and Marquette Township businesses to support these upcoming events.
Catch the Vision Car Show & Cruise – Saturday, June 22nd, 2013, in the Westwood Mall Parking lot hosted by Applebee’s. Last year the event had 160 cars last year in the mall parking hosted by Applebee’s.
“Catch the Vision” Community Day – Saturday, August 17th,2013, 9am to 9pm, a Celebration at Lions Field with softball tournament, firemen bbq, and Texaco Country Showdown..
“Catch the Christmas Spirit” Tree Lighting – Tuesday, December 3rd, 2013, Marquette Chorale in the Westwood Mall parking lot singing carols, Santa arriving on the firetruck, pictures and cookies with Santa in the mall, Fjord Horse drawn wagon rides.
Grand Opening for new township hall and fire department scheduled for the end of July or by the end of August
