MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP – September 13, 2013 – The Marquette Township Business Association (MTBA) is proud to announce there is a new doctor practicing in the Marquette area.
Dr. Jessica Hartwing is practicing at Superior Eye Health located on Venture Drive in Marquette Township. Superior Eye Health Center is a current MTBA member.
Dr. Hartwig is an Upper Peninsula native, growing up in Iron Mountain, Michigan.
She graduated in 2005 as class salutatorian from Iron Mountain High School.
Her undergraduate studies were completed at Lake Superior State University, graduating in 2009 as Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s in Biology and minor in Chemistry.
She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Michigan College of Optometry in 2013, with high distinction and received numerous awards. Her awards included the Vision Service Plan Excellence in Primary Care Award, Vistakon’s Excellence in Contact Lens Care Award, and Volk Optical Low Vision Student Award.
She is the daughter of Dean and Cathy Hartwig. She has three younger brothers, Billy Andrew and Luke.
