Marquette Township, MI – The ongoing project to beautify the Marquette Township welcome signs is underway again. On Saturday, June 6th, members of the Marquette Township Business Association donated their personal time to plant the annuals in the flower beds of the East
The sign beautification is a joint effort between the Marquette Township Business Association and the Marquette Township Board. Many thanks to Peggy Loy (Century 21) for coordinating the beautification, her daughter Penne (Century 21), and her son Jamie, along with Nancy Longtine (Great Lakes Radio) and Frank Stabile (Superior Oasis) for helping with the effort.
More work sessions on the beautification project will take place over the summer. If you’re interested in helping, please contact Peggy Loy at 228-5230 for more information.
