Santa Claus lighting the Marquette Township Christmas Tree – November 27, 2012

Marquette Township, Michigan  –  November 20, 2013  –  Starting at 6 pm on December 3rd, you can sing along to all your favorite Christmas carols with the Marquette Chorale, who will be on the big Sunny 101.9 FM stage by Applebee’s. Following the carols and Tree Lighting Ceremony, the firefighters will escort SANTA to the mall on one of the fire engines!
FREE hot cocoa, apple juice and cookies will be served, compliments of The Westwood Mall and Super One Foods.
SANTA will be available for pictures at The Westwood Mall until 8 pm — take one of your own or purchase a professional SANTA photo for half price.

Keep an eye out for THE GRINCH at Applebee’s and near the stage — we heard he’s trying to steal Christmas from the Township! Don’t worry, though, the Sheriff will be on hand to protect Marquette Township’s Christmas! Sunny 101.9 FM will broadcast LIVE updates throughout the event.
