Car Show and Cruise June 23 Marquette Township at Applebees

Marquette Township Saturday June 23, 2012 1:30pm – The township is calling all cars to visit the car show & cruise at Appleebee’s.  Model A’s are all welcome along with any vintage vehicle or hot rod.  Lunch will be served those that drive their car in for display.

MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP IS CALLING ALL CARS TO THE “CATCH THE VISION CAR SHOW & CRUISE”
The Marquette Township’s Community Events Committee would like to invite everyone to enjoy the “Catch the Vision Car Show & Cruise” to take place Saturday, June 23rd, 2012 as detailed on the attached flyer.  We are also encouraging all attending to consider bringing a can or dry goods donation to help restock our local food pantry.  There will be a St. Vincent De Paul’s vehicle parked by Applebee’s “Carside To Go” drive through to accept your food donations.   The agenda will be as follows:

  •       1:30 – 2:30 PM:  Car registration at Applebee’s
  •       2:30 – 4:30 PM:  Cars will be on display/Applebee’s parking lot
  •       4:30 – 5:30 PM:  “Catch the Vision” Classic Car Cruise around Presque Isle
  •       1:30 – 4:30PM:  Can drop off at Applebee’s “Carside To Go” (St. Vincent’s Vehicle will be there)

Also, A SPECIAL NOTE to TOWNSHIP BUSINESSES!  We are looking for donations of any kind (pens, note pads, coupons for your business, etc.) to put into the goodie bags we are giving out to the car owners who participate in the “Catch the Vision Car Show & Cruise”.  Please contact LeAnne Kachmarsky, Chairperson for the Community Events Committee at 360-4680 and she’ll make arrangements to pick up your donation. The cruise route will be as follows:  Leave the Applebee’s parking lot to Commerce Drive to Wright Street, to Lakeshore Blvd around Presque Isle back down Lakeshore Blvd. to Lincoln Avenue, right on Fair Avenue to Ontario, left on Ontario to Werner back to the Mall.
